- Rain shell to keep with you always (it’s rainy here)
- Laptop
- Camera

- Alarm clock and watch
Formal Events
- Clothes you might wear to a dinner party, a potlatch, a dance… etc.
Field Gear (rainproof everything!)
- Rain jacket
- Rain pants
- Gumboots and sturdy hiking boots
- Warm layers (fleece, wool, microfiber – but not cotton)
- Toque, scarf and mittens
- Lots of cozy socks
- Daypack (with waterproof cover)
- Water bottle (a thermos is nice to have too)
- Any personal field gear you might have (compass, jack knife, binoculars, rite-in-rain, etc.)
Extra Curricular Gear (optional)
- Musical instruments
- Camping gear
- Bike (with helmet and safety gear)
